Corporate Social Responsibility

At Eltek, we believe that a strong focus on corporate social responsibility (CSR) creates long-term benefits for our business and and the global communities we operate in.


Eltek’s culture builds on a common set of core values, focused on customer centricity, technological ambitions, competitiveness, and cultural sensitivity. Together with the company’s Code of Conduct, these corporate values form the basis for the company’s policies and guidelines with respect to Eltek representatives’ attitudes, behavior and performance.

Eltek’s policy is to conduct its worldwide operations in accordance with all applicable laws and the highest ethical standards, to comply with the laws of the countries in which Eltek operates, and to conform to locally accepted standards of good corporate citizenship.

The company has adopted Corporate Governance policies and procedures to reaffirm this policy, and in 2013 revised and updated the Eltek Code of Conduct to reflect the commitment to conduct its business without compromising on integrity. The main points in the Corporate Social Responsibility guidelines state that Eltek shall support and respect internationally proclaimed human rights, provide a positive and professional working environment with respect for international labor rights, protect the safety and health of its employees, conduct its operations with due regard for environmental impact, and oppose all forms of corruption.


Eltek supports and respects internationally proclaimed human rights including those specified in UN declaration and the International Labor Organization’s core conventions. Under the company’s Code of Conduct, all Eltek representatives are required to respect the personal dignity, privacy, and rights of every individual they interact with during the course of their work, and shall not cause or contribute to the violation or circumvention of human rights.

Discrimination and equal rights of opportunity

Eltek is opposed to all discriminatory practices. No direct or indirect negative discrimination shall take place on the basis of religion, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, age, national or social origin, race, disability, language, employee representation, political or other opinions.

Eltek does not tolerate bullying, mental or sexual harassment, discriminatory gestures, language or physical contact that is, or can be, perceived as sexual, coercive, degrading, threatening, abusive or exploitative. Eltek does not employ or contract child labor or any form of forced or compulsory labor.

Eltek is committed to providing a working environment that is positive and professional and that respects the International Labor Organization’s fundamental conventions. Eltek recognizes and respects the right to freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining in accordance with national laws and regulations. Eltek adheres to the SA 8000 employment standard worldwide, and requires its main subcontractors to do the same.
