About Eltek Valere

Eltek Valere was established through the acquisition of Valere Power Inc. in USA by Eltek Energy in 2007.

Eltek Valere develops and markets energy systems for telecom and industrial applications. A wide range of high power-density, flexible and cost-efficient rectifiers/converters form the core of the company’s product offering. Eltek Valere designs, builds and furnishes complex turn-key energy solutions. Eltek Valere also develops embedded system solutions for original equipment manufacturers.

Historically, Eltek Valere products have served the telecom market, but in 2007 and 2008 the company experienced significant growth in its industrial power business, including sectors such as power generation & transmission, chemical and petrochemical industries, oil & gas, machinery manufacturing and marine. In 2008, industrial product growth was particularly pronounced in Scandinavia and South East Asia. Eltek Valere aims at exploiting the potential in this segment in all geographical regions in the future including large markets like India and Brazil. This will open up opportunities with new customers, also for existing telecom products.

Six regional assembly hubs – in China, India, Slovakia, Germany, Brazil and the US - constitute the backbone of Eltek Valere’s global supply chain. At these hubs, energy systems are assembled to local requirements, based on standardized global designs, rectifiers and monitors, as well as sourced components. Two of these centers – in Slovakia and China - serve larger regional markets, and are supplemented by warehouses in national markets.

The supply chain is managed through a global logistics system that includes advanced tools for forecasting, planning, distribution and follow-up of manufacturing and sales. Distribution centers in China, Slovakia and the US serves the regional and local markets delivering the complete Eltek Valere product portfolio

One company culture

Products and services

Energy systems for telecom

Eltek Valere’s energy systems cover the entire range of application areas in telecommunication networks. A typical energy system includes rectifiers, control and monitoring modules, AC distribution for rectifier input, DC distribution, batteries and low voltage disconnect options. All the systems use state-of-art-the-art hot plug-in switch mode rectifiers allowing for easier system upgrades. Multiple rectifiers operate in parallel to meet specific power needs and ensure redundant operation.

Turn-key offering

Eltek Valere offers turn-key solutions that, in addition to the energy systems themselves, include site surveys, planning and project management, installation and commissioning, preventive maintenance, battery maintenance, 24/7 emergency services, product repairs and training.

High-efficiency product line

Eltek Valere offers a wide range of products and solutions that offer customers options to save on operating cost and meet their environmental goals.  The telecom industry consumes approximately 1 percent of the world’s energy usage, equaling some 160 billion KWh and resulting in emissions of more than 120 million tons of CO2. Some 60-70 percent of this power runs through an AC-to-DC power system and HE technologies and products can contribute to a significant reduction in the growth of energy and emissions from the telecom sector.

Eltek Valere is extending its power saving technology offering across its entire product line, from rectifier technologies, to enclosure and system design, to efficiency features for system controllers. We are focused on developing the key technologies that will enhance efficiencies in the telecom segment as well as adapting these technologies for IT/data centers, industrial and utility markets, and alternative energy markets.

Solar and hybrid solutions

In their search for reduced operating costs and reduced carbon footprint, operators having sites in areas with poor or even no electricity supply, require hybrid solutions where power is supplied both by solar panels and generators. Eltek Valere HE rectifiers and HE solar converters, together with a dedicated controller, make up a perfect solution to get a maximum number of kWh out of the solar panels and minimize the fuel consumption for the generators. For such needs, Eltek Valere is a total solution provider.

Industrial applications

Eltek Valere has a strong portfolio for the global industrial power market, offering solutions that meet the specialized power needs within power utilities, automotive, rail, marine & offshore, mining and process industries.
