General Governance Principles

1. Company Vision, Core Values, Code of Conduct and Social Responsibility - Corporate Culture

The following sections constitute an overview of Eltek's vision, core values, standards of business conduct, code of conduct and governance and management principles.

1.1 Vision

Eltek’s vision is to become the greatest power in the industry.


The aim is to lead the way in power technology and be a driving force in the industry.In support of these ambitions, Eltek is fostering a unified culture where the attitudes, behavior and performance of all Eltek employees are guided by four core values – shared across all companies in the Group. companies.

1.2 Core values

We are an ethical and responsible company doing business around the world. Our company values are principles we believe in and live by. They should both inspire us and guide our behavior, as individuals and as a company.


The attitudes, behavior and performance of all Eltek employees are guided by four core values – shared across all companies in the Group:

  • Customer Centric. We are driven by a strong ambition to deliver products and services that contribute profoundly to our customers’ own businesses.
  • Technologically ambitious. Our technological ambitions are a main motivator and a source of pride and self-confidence.
  • Aggressively Competitive. We have the culture of a challenger, always eager to outperform competitors.
  • Culturally sensitive. We do not underestimate the cultural challenges of operating globally. We always act with respect for local traditions, and cooperate closely across company, cultural and geographic borders to make this happen.

1.3 Code of Conduct

Eltek’s Code of Conduct has been adopted by the Board and is a key management tool that influences all our actions and decision making. The Code of Conduct policy document is available under Corporate Governance at Eltek.com.  The Code of Conduct covers areas that are important for securing business ethics in all aspects of the Group’s activities. Furthermore it gives specific and practical rules, and set the standards for how individual employees should conduct business. The Code of Conduct policy document also includes procedures for reporting any infractions.


Employees are expected to remain familiar/comply with Governance documents and Group policies, including the Code of Conduct policy which is also maintained on Eltek's Intranet. The Code of Conduct is signed upon employment, and there is also an annual reconfirmation of compliance.


Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct will result in sanctions suited to fit the nature and extent of unauthorized actions. The Codes of Conduct apply to Board members, managers, employees, hired staff and anyone acting on behalf of Eltek.

1.4 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Eltek, as a global player, has a responsibility to society. Our social responsibility applies to the organization and to its board members, managers, employees, hired staff, consultants, intermediaries and other acting on Eltek’s behalf. Our social responsibility is built around the principles stated below. By acting in accordance with these principles we give reasons to be proud of the way Eltek demonstrates its Corporate Social Responsibility.

  • We shall act responsibly and respectfully.
  • We aim to contribute to social and economic development in markets where we operate. 
  • We make the extra effort to enhance customer confidence that Eltek conducts business in an ethical and responsible manner.
  • We take seriously the social, ethical and environmental impact of our products and services.

Eltek's corporate values also form the foundation of the company’s human resource policy. 2. Corporate Governance Principles

Eltek views good corporate governance as a tool for achieving our vision, value creation and strategic goals. A set of rules and procedures is established that provides a sound platform for good corporate governance and for the further development of a positive, responsible and healthy corporate culture. The Group Management is responsible for ensuring the existence of internal rules, procedures and structures that can efficiently secure value creation for all stakeholders and where authority and responsibilities are clearly set out and mutually understood.

3. Management principles

Eltek’s management principles are designed to provide a framework for long-term, controlled and strategic development of the company. These principles are:

  • A distinctly pronounced and communicated vision and key strategies that define the direction of the company.
  • A set of core values that define and promote a common corporate culture and provide behavioral guidance, while respecting individual differences between the companies in the Group related to culture, tradition and legislation.
  • Clearly defined and documented requirements on Group companies to act in accordance with Group guidelines regarding financial reporting and budgeting.
  • A lean organizational model with active participation from top management in the day-to-day operation of the company.
