Business Model
Eltek conducts its global business through a number of wholly-owned subsidiaries, as well as some partly owned companies.
The business model and organizational structure of the Group combine centralization of key resources and functions with local market adaptation, in order to achieve the greatest possible flexibility and customer orientation, while ensuring a minimum cost of supply and logistics.
R&D resources are centralized and are located in Drammen and Kristiansand, Norway; and in Stockholm, Sweden. Other centralized functions include product management, marketing and sourcing and other corporate functions.
Manufacturing of proprietary products takes place at highly specialized, high-quality manufacturing facilities in key locations around the world.
6 assembly centers constitute the backbone of Eltek's global supply chain. At these centers, systems are assembled to local requirements, based on standardized global product designs, as well as sourced components. Some of these centers serve larger regional markets, and are supplemented by stocks in national markets.
The supply chain is managed through a global logistics system that includes advanced tools for forecasting, planning, distribution and follow-up of manufacturing and sales.
